Functional Medicine seeks to identify and address the root causes of disease, looking at the body as one integrated system. It treats the whole system, not just the symptoms, and supports the unique expression of health and vitality for each individual. It is based around patient-centred care and collaboration between patient and their doctor, looking at genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex chronic disease.
Functional health coaching embraces the same principles of individual client care. I work with you - the whole person, and support you to rebalance your lifestyle in a way that works for you and your unique goals; whether that be dealing with stress, weight loss,or recovering from and even preventing any of the chronic diseases.
